Spring get away packing essentials

When I asked on social what you were most excited about for spring, nearly everyone commented about enjoying warmer weather. I feel you - I get energized by the sun!

I think most of us are excited to travel (hopefully more safely) this year. We’re gearing up for a few trips ourselves so I thought it’d be fun to put together my go-to packing essentials for your next trip.

What’s in my bag

White button-down - This is a closet staple, but for warmer weather I prefer a softer, flowy version of this workwear classic. You can wear it on the plane for travel, use as a coverup during your trip and tie in the front for a cute day-time look.

Denim shorts - I love all denim. Shorts can be difficult depending on length, but I recently added this Pistola pair to my collection and love them. The lighter wash is great for spring and can easily be dressed up or down or thrown on over your swimwear.

Versatile tops and dresses - It’s fun to try vibrant/different styles on vacation, but I find I typically gravitate towards classics to save time and space. I love pairing a silky tank with denim for an effortless, elevated look. It’s the perfect piece to pack a punch in your suitcase. Pair with shorts during the day or white denim at night and simply add jewelry and heels/wedges to dress up the look. Same for dresses. I usually bring one unique piece but otherwise love simple knit dresses that can be worn with sneaks during the day and heels or cute sandals at night!

Swimwear - The one-size fits all swimwear has been trending lately and I was skeptical until I tried it for myself. The fabric is very stretchy but also form-fitting and flattering. It’s comfortable too! The best part is these double perfectly as bodysuits so you can maximize your style and space in your bag.

Neutral accessories - Of course I love neutrals but really they’re the best for trips because you know they’ll go with everything. I typically pack a nude, dressier sandal, flip flops, one heel/wedge, and sneakers for a quick beach get-away.

Jewelry & tech organizer - I always pack jewelry in my carry-on so it stays with me. This Leatherology organizer is used on all my trips! It’s great quality and they’re customizable so make for the perfect gift (even for yourself!). I also got one of these tech roll-ups for my fiance years ago and have been eyeing one for myself! Between iPads, headphones and chargers, these are great to keep in your carry-on for easy access.

Sunglasses - A must! I don’t go anywhere without sunnies and it’s one item I’ve always “splurged” on. I love a classic Ray-Ban aviator style for beach trips but I’m also prone to throwing sunnies on my head so need a pair without the nose piece. Currently loving my Pradas. 🖤
