Spring capsule style: The striped sweater

Spring is the perfect time to refresh - be it your lifestyle, wardrobe or home. Since its a bit hard to focus on refreshing our home while under construction, I’ve been focusing more on my closet (one area I can control!). As capsule wardrobes are becoming more popular, there a few elements I commonly see. The basics include typically neutral items that can easily mix and match to create various looks with ease.

I for one love this concept because I want to invest in pieces that are timeless in both style and quality. One article of clothing I often see in capsule closets is the striped sweater. I love the versatility and that it adds a bit of texture to an otherwise simple look. But I never found one that truly felt like me. They were either too busy, too bulky, or just didn’t fit my personal style.

Before my recent trip, I did a little shopping and I had this item on my list for some time. Luckily, I found one that I loved. This sweater from Kule is cashmere so its really soft and cozy without the weight. I like that the stripe is a fun color for spring without being over the top. And the neckline is flattering with a slight oversized fit throughout making it easy to dress up or down.

Below I’m sharing several different ways you can style this piece to take you from winter to spring. Most of the items I have already and you likely have similar ones to recreate these looks, too.
