Southerly Summary - March

As I’m writing this, it’s already April. March unfolded quickly, and it blossomed right into the next month. I’m not too mad about it other than that time seems to move too quickly.

We were able to fully embrace spring here in California. Flowers started to brighten the everyday scene and days had an added bit of warmth. I even got into spring cleaning (!)…you know it’s serious when you clean your cleaning accessories. I literally took apart and cleaned all my Dyson vacuums and then used them to spring clean things like my kitchen cabinets and the air vents. It feels good to reset, though it does take a bit of work.

March brought exciting new beginnings, including the launch of my LTK shop and some significant personal moments. It also brought travel - both local and abroad - something we’re grateful to be able to do again (more) safely.

While the yard is still under construction, we’ve been looking forward to furnishing the outdoor space, getting back to entertaining, and focusing on planning for our future. No small feat(s)!

My favorite quote from the month was “where flowers bloom, so does hope.” April is sure to bring more adventures and gets us a bit closer to the life we’ve been dreaming of…what are you dreaming of lately?
