Shop Southerly: Things I bought & loved in April
Another month gone by and it’s hard to believe we’re in MAY. We had some beautiful weather recently, and I’m looking forward to spending more time outside as the season unfolds.
Thought it would be fun to do a little roundup of recent finds - all perfect as we transition into late spring.
I have shared this tee before and sharing again because it is that good. It is what I grab for 90% of the time on weekends and pairs perfectly with high waisted jeans or shorts.
I added two pairs of shorts to my closet: these white denim shorts (loving the length) and these vintage Agolde cuff shorts (already worn several times).
I don’t know about you, but I have been feeling the Daisy Jones and the Six vibes since the show came out. I love pairing sweaters with shorts this time of year and this crochet one is so cute for the season.
After trying and not loving the J.Crew version, I picked up this straw tote bag from Madewell. I love the texture and structure of this bag. It goes with me to the market, beach, and running errands.
During the Sephora sale I grabbed this Charlotte Tilbury highlighter and I’m obsessed! It adds the perfect subtle glow that pairs well with shorts and swim this time of year. It is lightweight and not glittery which I appreciate.
Another blogger shared these linen boyfriend shirts from Gap (yes, influenced too!) and I love the relaxed fit. Will be wearing mine over cropped tops and swim all season.
If you work from home like me, it’s hard enough to get dressed some days but wearing a regular bra?! Not high on my list. I’ve been on the hunt for a bralette and this one has just the right amount of coverage.
I bought some beautiful terracotta vases for our outdoor living space that are bringing me joy. These are similar.
Didn’t hesitate to add to cart the new Emily Henry novel...will be reading in the backyard as the sun takes its time going down.
Happy new month!
