Our pregnancy announcement photos

Sometimes it’s still hard to believe we are pregnant. To be honest, with all that comes in a blended family, I wasn’t sure I wanted to add more to the mix. But then I kept hearing about how having a child is just an expansion of your love, and I couldn’t imagine not experiencing that. To share in this joy with my family is truly a gift - a wild and beautiful one.

I wanted to share some photos from our pregnancy announcement photoshoot as they turned out so lovely. The last few months have been a whirlwind adjusting to being pregnant and juggling our house remodel, but little by little I am starting to navigate this new self and look forward to all that’s to come.

We did some fun family photos during this shoot (not sharing all for privacy reasons) and then had some time to do the announcement photos. I wanted them to be casual so pinned a few I liked before our session. I love the natural vibe of this gorgeous park setting along the peninsula (unfortunately pets are only allowed during the week so our dog couldn't join in this time). So grateful to Ford Photography for a number of reasons but for capturing this special time for us!
