4 ways to style a neutral sweater

In today’s post, I’m sharing 4 ways to style a neutral sweater. In fact, it’s the same one I shared in my staple sweater styles post. You could swop in for any neutral sweater you have. Ivory, gray, or oatmeal colors would all work for these looks.

Leggings + flat boots

You’ve seen this look before and it’s one of my most worn during winter! I love an effortless throw on and go style so try pairing an oversized sweater with leggings and flat boots for a casual, comfy vibe. You could also pair with combat or rain boots depending on your climate.

Dark denim + heels

Dark denim can dress up any outfit, and it especially looks chic with heels. For this look, I’m wearing classic black skinnies from my capsule wardrobe and timeless black heels. Add a fun clutch for more personality. This one is older by Vince Camuto.

Hat + sneakers

Another fun way to style a classic sweater is with your fave denim and sneakers. Throw on a cute hat for added style and you’re ready to go! I purchased this hat from a local boutique, and many of my accessories are from small shops which I love.

Skirt + boots

Another classic look that’s a bit more elevated. Neutral sweaters pair perfect with patterned skirts, and I’ve been loving this one from Lush. Pair with knee-high boots for a fun urban feel.

Happy styling!
