Pink salted pomegranate margarita

This little cutie may be my new favorite drink! Don’t let the pink salt fool you…it’s dude approved.

With Valentine’s Day approaching, I thought it’d be fun to throw together some easy and festive ideas if you plan to celebrate.

This red concoction is V-day inspired but not overly sweet. It’s just awesome. I hope you enjoy! ♥️

Recipe

2 drinks

• Limes (cut a wedge and slice some for garnish)

• Pomegranate arils (for garnish)

• Salt (I used Himalayan salt for the pink plus it pairs perfect with tequila)

• Ice

• 4 ounces blanco tequila

• 2 ounces Triple Sec

• 1/2 cup pomegranate juice

• 1 lime, juiced (optional)

• Plain La Croix/soda water

Pour the salt onto a plate. Rub the rim of your glass with a lime wedge then dip into the salt. Fill glasses with ice. In a cocktail shaker, add ice, tequila, triple sec, pomegranate juice, and lime juice. Pour into the salt-rimmed glasses and top with a splash of soda water. Garnish as desired and enjoy!
