Halloween tablescape

I’ve always wanted to host a big Halloween party, and this simple tablescape would be perfect for a themed gathering. I continued with my spooky-chic mood from the bar cart (you’ll see a few borrowed pieces!).

The inspiration for this table came from these neutral flowers from Urban Stems. I had a black vase on hand which tied the look together and became the focal point. I used the same black gauze from the bar cart to anchor the table and give it a fun, textural feel.

I knew I wanted to incorporate candlesticks and these Threshold ones were the perfect find! You could reuse these in so many ways from tables to shelves and mantels.

Since our table is round, I kept the decor towards to the center. I find it more difficult to style a round table, and this is one item I am looking to replace! For now, I kept things simple by layering in my favorite decorative pumpkins and a few surprise items like this spider venom bottle (Target) and the white ceramic skull.

I used my everyday plates (which we love by the way!) and topped it off with this fun Halloween napkin. I love the pattern, and its disposable which makes for easy clean up.

One new purchase I made was this beautiful gold flatware set! I’ve been on the lookout for a while, and I really love the clean lines of this version as well as the price point.

For a Halloween party, I suggest serving a themed cocktail and red wine. You can easily turn any drink into something spooky with Fancy Sprinkles! I added orange to glow-up this martini and Shirley Temples work great for kids with their color. Rim your glass with red glaze and black sprinkles for a Halloween touch (just beware your lips may turn black!).

Spooky snack board

Of course, you’ll need some treats so throw together a spooky snack board to serve your guests.

Be sure to take inventory in your home for spooky items you could use to layer on your table! This was fun to create, and the best part was it got our family in the Halloween spirit!
