Frozen (skinny) pineapple daiquiri

Today, I’m excited to share a fun new cocktail recipe with y’all in partnership with Garden of Flavor!

Garden of Flavor is a woman-owned, pressed juice company based in Cleveland, OH and can be found at your local Whole Foods. They sent me a set of their energy elixirs to try, and my favorite was the wheatgrass pineapple. So naturally, we created a cocktail using it!

I have been wanting to create a frozen daiquiri since the summer heat set in, but I’m not a fan of the super sugary varieties. Typically daiquiris are made with rum, simple syrup, fruit, and ice.

The wheatgrass pineapple juice was fruit-forward (in a good way!), so I thought it’d make a great substitute for the simple syrup. The fruit was an easy choice, obviously (!), and since we’ve been into juicing ourselves recently, we had tons of frozen and fresh pineapple already on hand.

I hope you enjoy this healthier, tropical drink for summer! Please let me know if you try it. As always, I qualify every brand before agreeing to any sort of partnership (paid or otherwise) - all thoughts are my own and this was yummy (just drink it before it melts!).

Get juicy with it

To make this frozen drink, you need just 4 ingredients:

🍍 Equal parts frozen and fresh pineapple chunks (~1 cup each, 2 cups total)

🍍4 oz. rum (I used Bacardi)

🍍2 oz. GOF wheatgrass pineapple juice (or similar)

🍍1 whole lime, juiced

Combine all ingredients into a blender with ~1 cup of ice. Blend until smooth and taste test. You can always add more rum or juice to your liking as well as orange liqueur! Garnish with pineapple chunk or leaves (aren’t they pretty?). Sip poolside and enjoy!

Cheers!
