My go-to style for fall

Sweater weather is upon us, and I’m here for it! My love for sweaters began once I moved to the city. It’s pretty much a constant 60 something degrees in SF but then the fog rolls in and temps drop quickly. Karl (the so called dubbed fog) gets a bad rep… but it really is part of the city’s charm (IFYKYK).

That said, SF weather taught me the importance of layers. And ever since, I typically grab a crewneck sweater to throw on top of any outfit I can.

I love the ease of a pullover. And with the texture of a sweater, you’ve got an instantly cute and cozy look.

One of my favorite sweaters I purchased is from Everlane a few years ago. It has a soft crop, texture at the cuffs, and is slightly oversized to make pairing it with denim or leggings just as nice. To elevate the look, I also love pairing it with straight leg denim and a nicer flat, like these beautiful leather loafers from Madewell. I’ve had mine for a few years (hence why there may no longer be sizes) and they’ve gotten better with time! Such a quality, timeless piece at a great price point.

This saddle-colored leather will forever be a part of my palette both in style and in my home. I love it for accessories as well like this beautiful leather tote from Madewell (also had for years!).

In my mind these pieces never go out of style and make for a classic look to carry you through the season. Sharing some similar styles in this post.
